MELA is the student organization of Medialab Helsinki aka Medialaboratorio.

The history of MELA is unknown, but the students have been active in get-togethers, movie nights etc. for years. See below the calendar / archive of happenings and events. Best way to be updated of happenings is to join MELA Facebook group.

MELA on Medialaboratorion ainejärjestö. Toistaiseksi se on vielä rekisteröimätön yhdistys.

MELAN historia on vähän hämärän peitossa, mutta medialabilaiset ovat pitäneet henkeä yllä jo vuosia.

Toiminta MELAssa on viihdepainotteista, koska tällä hetkellä Medialaboratoriossa lienee asiat niin hyvin opiskelijan kannalta, ettei ongelmia juuri ole. Mutta toki kaikkia käytäntöjä sekä yhteistyötä eri instanssien kanssa voidaan kehittää. MELAN suhteet niin henkilökuntaan kuin TOKYOON päin ovat avoimet mikä osaltaa edes auttaa kehitystä.

Nämä sivut ovat pääosin englanniksi, koska (jos joku ei tiedä) Medialaboratorion virallinen kieli on englanti, mutta käytävillä kuulee sen lisäksi myös suomea, ruotsia, norjaa, koreaa, portugalia ja swahilia! (sekä monia muita kieliä)
